Peach provides laxative effect

Most of the people know that peach boost up laxative effect. It is because peach has high sugar and water content and hence has a very good laxative effect. Peaches are wonderful in alkalising the blood stream and stimulate the digestive juices. They can be used to regulate the bowel and build the blood. Peaches are an excellent food for elderly people, because the body assimilates this food very easily. Because they are easy to digest, very ripe peaches can be eaten in cases of ulcers of the stomach or inflammation of the bowel, and also in cases of colitis.

Peaches are wonderful in helping to eliminate toxins from the body, and they are good to eat on a weight loss programme.

Some ways to use peaches as medicine:

1. Ripe fruits are given in stomach ailments, as they soothe the walls of the stomach and remove all the accumulated toxins from the digestive system.

2. Its juice is known to remove worms from the intestine.

3. It is also very useful in keeping the eyes healthy.
