Discover medicine in Papaya

Papaya is a yellowish color food which is taken during summer by most of the people to keep their stomach cool. But there are some ways through which papaya can be used as medicine and can cure some kind of disorders. The chymopapain in papaya softens tight muscles and is the reason it is the main ingredients in meat tenderizers. The fruit contains vitamins A, B and C. It is a tonic, laxative, digestive and rejuvenative. Ripe fruit is very useful in digestive disorders and if taken regularly, it cures all sorts of stomach troubles.

The unripe fruit is also prescribed in stomach troubles, jaundice, gastritis and liver disorder. The ripe fruit should be eaten regularly for habitual constipation and chronic diarrhoea.

Now Papaya as medicine:

1. The juice is applied on corns, warts, pimples, horny excretions of the skin and other skin diseases.

2. Anaemia, constipation, eye-diseases and intestinal worms: Eat papayas frequently.

3. Liver and spleen inflamation: Taken papaya daily with 1 spoon of honey.

4. Dead, flaky skin on face: Take a ripe papaya slice and mash the pulp. Use it as a face pack overnight.
