Sounds great, but does it actually work? Or is it just another Internet scam? Pay $2.95 now but $300 later. What worries me is the site never truly discloses how much the total package will be.

I am just writing a review of the website because I found it interesting but I do not know much about their services.

    It is serious.

I got the close combat training and the “15 minutes of hell” fitness DVD…
I was already practicing judo and kendo and I seriously trust in that.
And I have nothing to do with the company.
Hell, I’m searching to see if they have a forum for a question which is my only complain so far.
Look past the “Captain Chris” mumbo Jumbo for the average joe and you’ll find something that works

Have you ever heard of Lieutenant X?

That was Captain Chris before he swicthed his marketing plan about a year ago. He must have figured that peopel were afraid of Lt. X because he was so raucous.

The reviews I read said that the DVDs are a total scam. You get the free stuff, it shows you almost nothing, and then you buy the rest to get the rest. In the end, it all leads to you needing to hire him for a private seminar, which costs like $5,000 or something. It may have been $15,000, I’m not sure. All of these blogs did not exist a few months ago, and it’s Chris himself marketing his product.

If you want to do yoursel a favor, go learn Haganah, teh Israeli military’s self-defense system. A good Hapkido or true Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor are great. In the end, get a security system, a dog, and a gun, if you are worried about pretcting yourself.

… jimja, you are right on the money! This company does not tell you what that “$2.95″ package REALLY COSTS!!! ( close to $300.00) If you sent for the package, make sure you call them for an RA# (almost impossible to contact a live person), send it back within the 30 day window and get and KEEP your delivery confirmation document… they will claim that they never received the product back and then attempt to bill your credit card, then threaten you with collection action. Trust me on this as I’m going through it right now… I found this blog searching for other people with similar problems with this online solicitor.

If you want to do some research on this company, just Google “Close Combat Company scam” and see what shows up. It makes interesting reading, particularly the Rip Off Report site.

All I know is I purchased a single e-book from the compoany (I was very carefull about that) and they sent me vitamins for the next 4 months billing me $32.00 each time. Anybody who has made a purchase from these guys. Cancel that credit card and order a new one and charge back those atuo debits (say you lost it if you have to) stop that captain chris - close combat rip-off

I also purchased the eBook for 9.95 and have had unauthorised recurring payments of 19.95 made on my credit card. If this was for supplements this WAS not disclosed at time off purchase. I have also purchased separately the 15 minute hell video and Super Soldier program for $800. I am very happy with the program and otherwise a happy customer. I am giving them a chance to resolve the problem. So far can recommend the product but not the company. I got the 15 Minute Hell Video for half price on eBay so check there if your interested.

Update. After emailing Close Combat Training I received a prompt response and the money refunded. However I was told that - “it appears you were never taken off of our Close Combat Adventures Newsletter subscription (which you signed up for with the purchase of our E-Book)”. Hmmmmm…..pretty sure that is not what I signed up for. So after some great customer service am happy to recommend Close Combat Training and their products do deliver what they promise.

I must have overlooked some fineprint in their contract, and they just keep on billing me every month for the suppliment that I do not want and I have nerver intendended to subscribe, an extra of USD97 for the products thay called CC10 & CC3.Like Mark said, “pretty sure that is not what I signed up for”. A common internet scam tactic. The Captain is suppose to help fighting crime, but it appeared that he is just one of those legal pirate. Becareful of the Shark in masquerade out there. Take care.

I have the same problem with supplements being sent except they have billed my credit card 3 times at $97 for them. If you see captain chris walking down the street please run him over for me!!

Guys! Thanks for sharing your experience. But from your feedback, I guess Captain Chris is not doing good.
