know about newborn baby

It would be interesting knowing about how the normal just born baby is like and what changes appear within few hours or days.First of all i would like to mention some physical features of normal baby at the time of birth.Weight should be in between 2.5kg and 3.5kg and length about 50cm.Any birth with weight less than 2.5kg is considered as Low birth weight baby.The head circumference is about 35cm.Heart rate and respiratory rates will be 120-140 per minute and 30-40 per minute respectively.

Now I want to drop here some changes in the baby after the birth.the baby passes urine at the time of birth or within 24 hours after birth.The meconium(the first stool of the baby) is black in color and is paste like which is passed within the first day.In the next 2-3 days the stool color changes to golden brown.The baby is slightly bluish in the extremities just after the birth and will turn pink within few hours.
